(I'm no longer in Sweden, so I won't subject you to my Swedish. Hope you don't mind the english instead!)
What Sara says, that men use the burqa to disguise themselves and commit crimes: So perhaps we should forbid big coats, ski masks, or anything else that people might use to disguise themselves?
If a policeman can't spot a man disguising himself as a woman in a burqa, so all women should stop wearing the burqa. Right?
Second: Women all over the world wear the burqa proudly, despite being insulted or singled out for it. They do it as it is part of their identity. Do you then arrogantly assume you know their identity or values better than they do?
How about the tyranny of fashion? Young girls starve themselves or even commit suicide if they don't fit in with the 'in' look, promoted by the fashion industry. How about banning this, far more destructive influence on women?
Is there a woman who will deny that going around in clothes that are tight or even a bit revealing in any way, opens them to male examination? I've gone without, then with the burqa, for this very reason, to protect my body from those horrible gazes from men who think a woman's body is their right.

And both men and women give me more respect.
